Are you looking to join a growing company and bring your tax skills to the plate? We are looking to add a Tax Manager to our worldwide finance team that strives to be best-in-class. We are seeking a valued team member who will help address all matters tax related. Will work with Big 4 consulting firm for pre-auditor review/consulting on the provision

Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining necessary data from cross-functional finance peers, prepare and/or review the quarterly and year-end tax provisions for presentation to our auditors
  • Provide and review tax-related disclosures on quarterly and annual SEC filings
  • Own the tax SOX controls and ensuring our provision work-papers are SOX compliant. Collaborate with an Internal audit on SOX compliance initiatives including control and process improvement, etc.
  • Prepare monthly sales tax reconciliation and provide sales tax data to consulting firm for monthly sales tax return compliance
  • Assist in managing and interacting with outside consultants on a variety of corporate tax projects including transfer pricing studies, country withholding tax analysis, Intellectual property planning, foreign tax return compliance and tax credit studies etc.
  • Familiarity with and ability to identify tax provision and compliance implications of strategic tax projects and acquisitions between tax planning, income tax provision and income tax compliance
  • Understand and can work with calculation of uncertain tax position risks and assessments
  • Drive continuous improvements to the process and methodologies used in the tax department
  • Must be willing to roll up sleeves and work through problems that may be cross-functional in character and collaborate with a what-is-best-for-the-team mindset

Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of income tax experience
  • National accounting firm experience
  • Ability to self-direct
  • Creative thinking
  • Flexible mindset and willingness to embrace change
  • Detailed working knowledge of income tax provision and accounting requirements under US GAAP (ASC 740 and related guidance)
  • Experience calculating and reporting under ASC 740
  • Strong people, writing and project management skills
