  • Accountancy Qualification – ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with substantial post qualification and relevant accounting experience

Finance Projects Manager


Global award winning Financial, Energy and Commodities Broker/Dealer Investment Firm is going through a period of expansion due to an increase in client activity. Our client, based in their stunning London office is looking for a Finance Projects Manager to join the EMEA Finance team.


Finance Projects Manager:


  • Design and maintenance of the finance team’s end-to-end review, governance and control frameworks. This includes identifying, measuring, controlling, and monitoring the operational risk for all areas
  • The team will also drive projects across finance forward with the objective to reduce risk, improve efficiency and increase transparency across processes, technology, data and controls.
  • Continual improvement of the internal controls, financial reports and general business processes. Play a leading role in challenging the interpretation of policies and the associated controls.
  • Build on existing control framework, constantly looking for new ways to identify weaknesses or inefficiency in the control and areas of risk. Regularly test and attest that all controls are in place and adequate.
  • Record and assist in the remediation of risk events logged on the risk software.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process.
  • Test that the finance team adheres to the controls set out in the RCSA.
  • Develop and maintain Finance Risk Dashboards (Key Risk Indicator and Key Control Indicator metrics and commentary) and continually develop out some monthly KPI/KRI reports across all finance teams.
  • Automate the month-end reporting including FSR Support Pack reporting processes
  • Drive projects across finance forward with the aim to automate processes, increase efficiency, reduce risks and to establish greater insight and control.
  • Maintain a project list detailing out all projects currently being considered by finance and progress made.
