Main Job Description

This position requires the management of both the clients required and complex US Tax Compliance & Provision work as well as managing the staff assigned to the various engagements. Oversee and assist in the preparation practical and creative solutions to the client tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions. Lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans

Our client will cover some of the relocation costs for US Tax Professionals applying from outside Winnipeg.

Job Duties/Accountabilities

• a bachelor degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics
• an advanced degree in tax or law is highly desirable
• a minimum of 5 years of relevant U.S. tax experience (specifically within the areas of compliance/provision) or the equivalent experience in business or industry
• an accounting designation
• strong managerial skills and a proven record in leading teams
