As Italy Senior Tax Specialist referring to Italy CFO, you will:

  • Prepare and manage Tax returns for direct and indirect taxes
  • Liaise with technical and general accounting in order to grant the respect of accounting fiscal rules and the delivery to fiscal authorities of data and documentation required
  • Support Italy CFO in managing relation with fiscal authorities
  • Prepare and deliver Group internal fiscal reports
  • Prepare and manage tax budget
  • Maintain relations with local fiscal advisors

As Regional Tax Supervisor , your main tasks will be to: *

  • Proactively manage tax related matters in the region (initial focus on Italy with gradual coverage for Spain, South Africa, Portugal, Israel) while working with regional / local management and liaising with group tax department
  • Participate and enhance existing procedures with respect to tax positions reported in IFRS and local accounts (both current and deferred tax) and in tax business plans
  • Anticipate and escalate related risks and issues and recommend robust mitigation measures / identify improvements
  • Supervise the accurate preparation of direct and indirect tax returns in the region
  • Maintain, review and prepare the local transfer pricing documentation
  • Participate in significant tax audits in the region with the help of the group tax department


  • degree in finance or law with specific orientation/specialization in tax law
  • 5-8 years of relevant Italian and international tax experience (Big 4, law firm and/or Multinational Company), ideally in the insurance or financial services sectors in Italy
  • Self-starter with excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Leadership
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and apply tax rules, adapt quickly to different interlocutors and work both independently or as a team-member
  • Fluent in English and good MS office skills (especially Excel)
