They are an international service provider, leading in multiple industries across the Middle East and GCC. HQ from Riyadh, with main offices in Dubai, this group has shown continuous development and growth and aims to harness this further.


The Group Tax Manager is responsible for local (country specific) and International Tax regulations, implications and treatment for the Group.

Main accountabilities lie within the following areas:

  • Implementation of VAT across the group
  • Manage current and deferred tax as per local tax regulations re. VAT
  • Manage Direct and Indirect Tax planning
  • Manage monthly and quarterly Tax (VAT) filing as per local tax regulations
  • Manage Current and Deferred Tax (International Tax treatment) as per Accounting (IFRS) policies
  • Manage Tax computation and review for monthly (With Holding Tax), quarterly and annual (Zakat) tax filing
  • Liaise with local Tax authorities for audit and compliance
  • Initiate and manage Tax optimization projects (Transfer pricing, Intercompany charges etc.)

* Review and approve tax reconciliation


Only candidates with the below attributes will be considered:

  • Certified Accounting or Tax Qualification
  • More than 8 years in a dedicated Tax function
  • Experience in Indirect Tax/ VAT - any implementation work is highly desired
  • Experienced in International Tax Regulations and treatments (focus on Indirect Tax)
  • Big Four Tax Practise experience, combined with Industry experience with an International Group is preferred
  • Experienced with Tax Planning, Compliance & Tax Reporting
  • Strong experience in working with multiple tax authorities across a region

* Fluent in English (Arabic is highly desired but not essential)
