The role will focus primarily on federal and International tax planning.  In addition, this individual should be familiar with transactional concepts relating to mergers and acquisitions and divestitures, as well as modelling of tax attributes and tax impacts of various corporate transactions such as:

  • Assist managers with the development and implementation of transactions that support and advance company initiatives of simplification of the worldwide organization structure, tax-efficient redeployment of overseas cash and reduction of taxes.
  • Develop transactional slide decks depicting steps of planning transactions.
  • Develop calculations and models of tax consequences of various transactions.
  • Research and document technical tax issues related to tax planning transactions including the writing of technical memos in support of the company’s positions.
  • Liaise with financial, treasury, legal, operational personnel and external advisors to develop tax planning analysis.
  • Participate in special projects.
  • Draft US income tax statements and forms with respect to business and tax planning transactions for inclusion in the US income tax return.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (with CPA and MST or JD/LLM preferred)
  • 2+ years of international tax experience in Big 4 or large multinational corporation
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficient
  • Technology savvy with HFM and CorpTax experience a plus
  • Strong tax research skills
