The Global Mobility Tax Accountant provides guidance, coaching and education to expatriates and business unit managers and employees about the client expatriate tax program, explaining tax equalization policies and procedures, resolving cases and working with the client tax assistance firm to complete Tax Equalization Settlements. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining the authorization list for tax services. Incumbent researches discrepancies in compensation, deciding resolution and communicating that resolution to the tax assistance firm. The Global Mobility tax accountant will manage inquiries from expatriates or business units and close them with a high degree of quality and responsiveness. Incumbent will oversee work of tax assistance firm providing host country payroll and tax payments, and ensure that they are recorded correctly in employee compensation and will manage tax receivables incurred by client expatriates, monitoring and recording receipts. Job Requirements:Required Skills / Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Tax Accountant Preferred Skills / Qualifications:Customer services skills are critical. Demonstrated effective analytical and problem solving skills Work across businesses in order to bring tasks to closure Intermediate level proficiency of MS Office Suite Candidates MUST have demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office. Specifically EXCEL -Willing to complete assigned tasks. Accounting experience Additional Information:Communicates regularly with expatriates about U.S. and foreign taxes, while promoting compliance with client corporate policies.
