  • Serve as lead tax advisor to our management team in the LAC Region, responsible for supporting the team on all tax aspects of the LAC business, including
  • Advising on the tax consequences of business transformation initiatives and operating strategies
  • Advising the management team on the impact of ongoing LAC and relevant US and global tax developments to our business activities and financial results in the Region
  • Identifying, planning and implementing tax projects for the Region
  • Supporting HQ management with analysis and advice regarding the LAC Region’s contribution to our effective tax rate and tax forecasts
  • Supporting transfer pricing planning and implementation for the LAC Region
  • Oversee outsourced tax compliance activities for the Region
  • Oversee preparation of LAC tax provision and forecasts
  • Managing LAC Region tax audit activity
  • Work with the treasury and others on cash repatriation, advise and execute the local planning related to dividend payments and other financing options
  • Developing a team
  • Lead and manage the development and analysis of tax considerations across all functions at Company and the LAC Region, including executives in business development, legal, financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, and HR


  • At least 10 years of progressive responsibility and leadership in international taxation at a Big 4 public accounting firm, nationally recognized law firm, or tax department of a Fortune 500 or equivalent corporation
  • CPA certification and/or JD
  • Ability to fluently speak and write Spanish in a business setting. Brazilian Portuguese a strong plus
  • Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation principles in LAC Region markets, including Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Chile and Argentina

  • Willingness to travel as needed to LAC Region offices, particularly Miami (if based in Foster City)
