Our Transfer Pricing and Tax Valuations team is seeking energetic manager or senior manager level business economists / valuations specialists who are eager to develop skills in a rewarding area of consulting. Open positions are in the New York office. Transfer pricing is a specialized area of international tax that applies economic analysis and analytic methods to the study of intercompany pricing. We assist our clients with the development of cross-border prices that meet strategic goals and comply with international tax and transfer pricing regulations. Our client base consists of multinational companies with business activities in a broad spectrum of industries.
The TP / Valuations Director (Manager) / Senior Director (Senior Manager) will manage tax valuations client engagements by executing valuations of intellectual property and businesses specifically for tax purposes. Utilizing methodologies including discounted cash flow, market comparable, multi-period excess earnings, and relief from royalty, the valuations would be conducted for a variety of tax purposes including internal tax reorganizations and spin offs; related party IP transfers; tax allocation of assets as part of an acquisition; thin capitalization analyses; gift and estate; partnership basis; cost segregation; NOL limitations and built-in gains, and others.
In addition to managing tax valuations engagements, the Director / Senior Director will be expected to assist the transfer pricing team in economic analysis / modelling as required. Although formal transfer pricing experience is not required, general exposure to transfer pricing principles would highly beneficial.
