Assists in the preparation of the federal, state, and local income tax returns, including gathering data, preparing workpapers, and performing tax research to support tax positions. Analyzes and assimilates financial information necessary for preparing financial statement tax provisions, accounting for deferred income taxes, and responding to tax audits. Assists in responding to tax inquiries from other departments on various non-income tax matters including unclaimed property reports, Form 1099 compliance, sales/use tax inquiries, and personal property tax returns. The position reports to the Vice President of Taxation.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business management. CPA or advanced tax degree preferred.
