Responsibilities:

Working with the Global Director of Transfer Pricing, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of integrated transfer pricing projects, both necessary for strategic planning and robust documentation purposes.  Primarily the role will require you to partake in the delivery of large planning, restructuring and documentation projects from start to finish, including implementation. You will have proven ability to work independently and experience working with other key operational stakeholders; including, legal, finance, treasury, IT, strategy, supply chain, and business development.  

 

Responsibilities and Educational Requirements:

  • Manage a process and control environment that ensures timely and accurate compliance with existing and emerging country by country and intercompany transaction reporting requirements;
  • Servings as a part of our acquisition, divestiture and restructuring teams as a key resource; e.g., administration, planning, due diligence and integration;
  • Helping to identify our global transfer pricing exposure areas both on a pre and post audit basis;
  • Supporting our communications with and submissions to tax authorities on all transfer pricing related issues;
  • Support on providing detailed analytics related to comparable data, valuation metrics to help support the pricing of Delphi’s inter-company relationships and positions; and
  • Assisting with implementation of tax strategies with a focus on transfer pricing policies

We expect this person to have:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing and / or cross-border tax issues with large, multi-divisional multinationals while working for Big 4 accounting firms or multinational companies;
  • Solid knowledge of international tax with US GAAP knowledge desirable;
  • Strong proficiency in English, other European and Asian language skills a plus (we are a multinational, multilingual company, however English is the common language in our finance and tax group);
  • Strong ability to develop initial positions / solutions to problems on their own and aptitude to pursue them accordingly;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to interact well with people of various backgrounds and levels;
  • Ability to work independently at times as well as closely and successfully with professionals of different backgrounds and cultures;
  • Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines for US GAAP reporting needs and manage a number of projects at any one time;
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally; and
  • A positive, energetic, fun and happy attitude with a strong creativity streak
