We are thrilled to be recruiting for partner-track Tax Manager or Tax Senior Manager to join our teamin downtown Edmonds! We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Firm’s small management team, where they will have the opportunity to act as a mentor to junior staff and manage, research, schedule, supervise and review tax engagements and the overall office. As part of firm Management, this position will allow the individual to use their client management skills to develop relationships, as well as identify leads to new referral sources and businesses. We offer a competitive salary, medical, dental and vision insurance, five-weeks paid-time-off, a 401k, and recurring commissions on client origination. We partner with you to grow your book and grow your business by paying recurring commission and not requiring a non-compete on your clients.

Also, we do not require a non-compete for client origination, allowing for the right person to build a book of business with no strings attached.


The right candidate for our team will:

  • Have a passion for providing exceptional service through planning and execution of tax services
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate straightforwardly over the phone, in person, and through email
  • Ability to independently conduct research tailored to the needs of the client
  • Be proficient with technology and adaptive to new tools and skills
  • Demonstrating the ability to think beyond accounting and understanding client opportunities and goals
  • Be highly self-motivated and possess the ability to work both independently and collaborate in a team environment
  • Gets things done. Someone who proactively looks to be a part of our small management teamand find ways to make our entire firm and office more efficient, effective, culturally strong, and ripe for growth



  • CPA or EA with a minimum of five years’ experience
  • Proficient in individual, partnership and corporate taxation
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with the CCH Axcess Software Suite & QuickBooks is a plus
  • Ability to work overtime as needed (flexible work arrangements are negotiable)
  • Previous experience overseeing and training junior staff members
