Main Responsibility Area:
Main responsibility area in this position is to manage Nokia’s quarterly tax reporting of current and deferred taxes worldwide and produce related supporting documentation. The position will report to Head of Tax Reporting.
Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Tax Manager to
  • Manage, develop and optimize quarterly income tax reporting of current and deferred taxes of Nokia group
  • Manage and optimize Nokia tax reporting tools and practices
  • Provide professional guidance and training to local SSO (Shared Service Operations) region tax and other CFO units for IFRS tax accounting and tax reporting
  • Manage Nokia Group tax forecasting process
  • Prepare quarterly required internal and audit documentation of the reporting process and reported tax figures
  • Ensuring that adequate support and controls are maintained for SOX purposes
  • Prepare Nokia Group 20-F consolidated footnotes for current and deferred taxes
  • Support in M&A tax projects and international tax matters
  • Ensuring that accounting policy and guidance related to tac accounting is up to date
  • Master’s degree in accounting or business administration
  • More than 5 years of relevant tax experience in Big 4, law firms and/or multinational companies
  • Strong accounting or finance background
  • Sound knowledge of tax legislations and practices in corporate income tax related topics
  • Sound knowledge of IAS 12 and other relevant IFRS standards
  • Experience in leading and communicating within multifunctional teams and independently managing cross organizational projects
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Finnish and English language.
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications (excel) and financial consolidation software (preferably Hyperion)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
