Job Overview:
  • Develop and / or maintain existing controls for checking direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, withholding taxes, and other applicable);

  • Support coordination in routine tax and tax guidelines for employees and partners, as well as in analyzing the tax implications on subcontracts and their proforma invoice;

  • Attend technically any inspections at the Municipal, State and Federal levels.


Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for issuing invoices for Services, Sales of goods, as well as for material handling and importations;

  • Maintain updated the tax and joint social security certificates;

  • Assist in the preparation of legal obligations (SPED);

  • Support coordination in the regular maintenance of the calculation of tax credits, preparing the Compensation Request when applicable, to ensure efficiency in the use of credit – PER/DCOMP and administrative process for any credit requests with RFB, SEFAZ State and Municipal;

  • Support coordination in the analysis of tax transactions for the ongoing projects (compliance /tax risks);

  • Support coordination in the analysis of tax operations to indicate where the Company has the highest tax efficiency;

  • Comply with any necessary tax clarifications on services and goods operations during the calculation of taxes;

  • Correct any points pointed out in the monthly review report after the calculation of taxes;

  • Follow and keep updated the Tax Overview;

  • Operationalization of the daily routine of tax matters, maintaining the regularity of tax files;

  • Prepare Tax entries / analysis / reclassifications / accruals for Statutory accounts purposes;

  • Ensure taxes are correctly calculated for the respective payment.

  • Ensure tax compliance of operations



Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting;
  • At least 6 years in the tax area, with experience in tax credit analysis and accounting tax routine.
  • Portuguese (native ou fluent) and English (advanced)
  • Extensive knowledge Indirect Taxes
  • Contracts Analysis - tax perspectives
  • Tax Transaction Analysis and fiscal accounting routine
  • Practice in issuing invoices: sales, imports and material /goods various movements.
  • AP / AR Process
  • Knowledge of direct taxes and legislation would be a differential;
  • Knowledge in tax routine and special customs regimes is a differential Oracle
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work as a team member, interfacing with other departments.

  • Maintain key competencies associated with the QHSES.

  • Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.

  • Computer literate on Microsoft programs: Word, Power, Point, Excel.

  • Advanced / Intermediate English to be able to participate for trainings and calls
