The role involves allocated responsibilities for management, direction and provision of tax advisory and compliance work within the IHG Group in relation to the following areas:
The primary initial responsibilities of the current role will be in the areas of business advisory and support work, specialist tax compliance matters conducted in house (in particular management of transfer pricing requirements) and regulatory compliance relating to tax. It may also involve assisting in providing business support advice in related areas such as indirect tax compliance or treasury as necessary to help meet business needs in a rapidly changing environment.
Rotation of responsibilities into other listed areas may be expected in future in order to assist the development of the individual and of other team members, or as opportunities and needs arise.
The individual will be expected to have the capability of future development to achieve a range and mix of competencies at aggregate levels appropriate for a Director, within the Department’s banding and competency assessment system..
